Entrepreneurship
↳ Course Description: Dive into the dynamic world of startups and business innovation with our Entrepreneurship course, designed for the aspiring business owners of tomorrow. In this journey, students will unravel the mysteries of financial management, navigate the complexities of legal practices in business, and hone their leadership and management prowess. They'll transform theoretical knowledge into tangible products, mastering the art of product development, marketing, and e-commerce. The highlight? Pitching their groundbreaking ideas in our very own "shark tank" - a chance to bring their visions to life in our entrepreneurship incubator storefront. Here, selected student-led businesses take root, offering a unique blend of academic insight and real-world entrepreneurial experience.

High School Honors — Year Long Course
Law
↳ Course Description: Dive into our great American Legal System through the multiple law courses offered here at Lakeland Christian School. Each year, our Dual Enrollment course offerings change to allow students to experience a broad range of legal topics. Topics include Business Law, Business Ethics, Introduction to Crime Scene, Homicide Investigation, American Court System. And Legal Terminology. Each of these courses are taught using the Socratic method. They apply “real-world” knowledge by studying current event case studies while learning the ‘ins and outs’ of our legal field. These courses expose our students to public speaking, critical thinking, as well as the soft skills necessary to make one successful in whatever field they may ultimately find themselves. Come join us as we navigate through the legal arena.

Video Production
↳ Course Description: This video production course offers students an opportunity to explore the art and science of creating compelling video content. Through hands-on projects and practical experiences, students will develop skills in pre-production, production, and post-production processes. Students will learn various mediums of video production and apply skills learned to create quality content practically and professionally.

Advanced Video Production Honors — Students who have completed video production 1 have the opportunity to continue to grow in their knowledge and skill through advanced video production honors. In this course, students will receive an honors credit while learning advanced storytelling, editing, and production techniques.

Leadership
↳ Course Description: We are in the business of making the visionary leaders of the future. This year-long course journey delves into the heart of leadership theories from a Biblical perspective, the power of effective communication, and equipping students with the tools to lead with confidence and integrity. Through a blend of real-life service projects, on-campus student life development, and reflective practice, participants will not only study leadership but live it, developing their unique leadership style. Graduates of this program emerge as empowered individuals, ready to inspire change and lead initiatives in any path they choose, be it in academia, their communities, or the global stage. They also complete a “Guide to Growing Up” boot camp where they cover practical topics like personal financial, conflict resolution, job interviews, and more.

Event Planning
↳ Course Description: In Event-Planning, we will break down the process of gathering and observe it from Biblical, social, emotional, financial, and logistical viewpoints. We will execute large events, strategize the art of planning, work on setting and achieving goals, and you will understand what it takes to become a professional event planner. This class is made for students who enjoy challenging themselves, want to do fascinating work, and are eager to develop themselves as leaders.

Songwriting/ Music Production 1 — Full Year Course
Advanced Songwriting/Music Production Honors — Students who have completed Songwriting/Music Production 1 have the opportunity to further their skills in advanced songwriting/music production honors. Students will receive an honors credit while learning advanced lyric/melodic composition, production, and performance techniques.
↳ Course Description: The Songwriting/Music Production Class offers students an engaging opportunity to explore the art of song creation, from concept development to final production. Students will develop skills in lyric writing, melody composition, harmony, arrangement, and recording techniques.
