About RISE Robotics!
RISE Robotics is a program in RISE that teaches kids how to make robots. The students then show the robots to the students and families in the RISE Expo.
I interviewed two teams working on their robots to get more information about how they operate the robots and what they do.
Robot 3
What is this robot used for?
“In the game, it picks up blocks and puts them on the tower.”
What does the robot run on?
“By Autonomous and TeleOp.”
How is the robot controlled?
“It controls itself by the code we made for it. In TeleOp, you control it with a controller.
Robot 2
How does the robot work?
“By motors spinning to spin gears and wheels, and code. We can also control it with the Gamepad controller.”
These kids have already learned a lot about building and programming robots. It’s very clear that they are having a lot of fun controlling these robots and preparing them for the RISE Expo!
